VIPASSANA. THE ART OF LIVING.

So I finally did it. I registered for a Vipassana Retreat. Since two years I have this in my head.. but never had the guts to push through it. Do you know what I mean?

Then one morning I woke up and thought WHY NOT doing it NOW? For what am I waiting for? There will always be something which seems to be more important or in the way.. but at the end it`s all just a BIG  excuse. We do that all the time! Making things up that we don`t have to face our deepest fears.

Coming from Austria, a country with rich coffee culture and coffee shops everywhere you go, of course I love coffee. And I still do drink it but really rarely these days compared to my time back home. And since I live in Asia I got completely addicted to my Matcha Lattes in the afternoon.. super delicious, hot or cold.

TRAVEL DIARY: Barberyn Reef Ayurveda Resort

If you have ever been to Sri Lanka, you know that the people there are more than pleased to welcome you with their open hearts and bright smiles.

Lucky me, the trip from Penang Island via Kuala Lumpur to Colombo just took about 3 hours.

Time I spent with reading, counting clouds and exchanging stories with strangers. As I arrived at the tiny airport in Colombo, I was reminded to my days back in Indonesia. The airport was simple and easy manageable which helped a lot while arranging the papers for my tourist visa. Since I already applied for it online two days before my departure I just had to fill out the arrival card and was through immigrations 10 minutes later. Waiting for my driver took a bit longer.
