RAW RASPBERRY JAM

Since we eat a lot of Nut butter, we are always keen for new crazy topping ideas. So here is one of our current favorite toppings.

Raw Raspberry Jam

Ingredients:

2 cups of raspberry (if you are using frozen one, defrost them first)

2 tablespoons of chia seeds

2 tablespoons of warm water

2-4 tablespoons raw honey

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla (optional)

How to make it:

Put all ingredients in a blender. Start with the heavier one first, in this case honey, so your ingredients get properly mixed together. This mixture does`t need a lot of blending. I don`t like mine chunky, but maybe you do, so mix until you reach your preferable texture! Taste and add more honey if you prefer it sweeter. Transfer the mixture to a container (I use mason jars)  and allow to set in the fridge, about an hour.  Enjoy on a bagel on top of your nut butter!
